Calidaria is burning.

The caves were dark and cool.
They kept running, laboured breaths and footsteps echoing endlessly. The tunnel had to be endless, for the darkness gave way to nothing but rock, slick with glittering, black slime. Part fae and part dragon, the drae of Calidaria belong to the race of flame wielders. Ruled by the Maharani, the nine regions of this kingdom have strict laws to imprison anyone of the enemy race.
the people of the fire kingdom are proud of their flame.
For centuries, they have kept to their side of the river while monsters, faeries, and vicious creatures roam their land. Only those deemed worthy may pass through their borders safely, while the the rest face merciless judgement.
Such is the fate of all who set foot in the kingdom of fire.
Until one day, a strange girl arrives unauthorized and unchecked, changing the world as they know it.

The drae of this kingdom belong to the race of cold-dwellers. Their powers of ice make them enemies to the ignis-drae. The two kingdoms are divided by a border of ancient magic, and none may pass through.
Little is known of the enemy land, Glacaria.
