CHAPTER 1 - GLITCH
The portal exploded into existence with a rage that wasn't quite normal.
Its light dyed the sandy ground in shifting scarlets. A visage of reds, darkening and brightening, it churned as clouds, crashing into one another with bloody hues that flashed like lightning and groaned as thunder. It glowed in the doorway of an abandoned house.
THE PEOPLE OF THE FIRE KINGDOM ARE PROUD OF THEIR FLAME
For centuries they have been content to keep to their side of the Watching River, while the world is riddled with enemies: from beastly monsters and vicious faeries to their own ruthless opposites of ice…
